Making the Engines look as good on the outside as they are on the inside.

Port 8-92 735hp While they are relatively clean, a touch up job on the paint will make them look much better. Everything is silver. We would like to clean it all up and then repaint. Not sure exactly what but likely to paint valve covers blue and the exhaust manifolds black. Starboard 8-92 735hp Port Instruments One of the first things we would like to do is fix the instrument package. We understand why Detroit placed the instruments on the motor, however this is a very precarious place for them and the end result is breakage. These are "mechanical" instruments as oppossed to the "electrical" instruments on the Bridge. They are very important because they give precise, reliable information The same can be said for the starboard side. We would like to remove these ugly boxes from the engines and make instrument panels on the bulkhead. These have trans pressure, oil pressure and water temp. We would also like to add Mechanical tachs in the engine room. Starboard Instruments
